Save local businesses from closure - remove clifftop car parking charges
We call on the Council to urgently remove the car parking charges at the Clifftops in Penarth. Since their introduction, local businesses have seen devastating losses — with some reporting revenue drops of 40% to 70%. These businesses are the lifeblood of our community, providing jobs, supporting local families, and contributing to Penarth’s unique character. The charges are driving visitors away, threatening livelihoods, and undermining the very spirit of the Clifftops. We urge the Council to listen to the community, support local business, and reverse these damaging and unnecessary parking charges.
