What's your experience of life in the Vale of Glamorgan?
In the autumn of 2023 we worked with independent researchers Data Cymru to conduct our largest ever survey of residents in the Vale of Glamorgan.
We wanted to to know about your experiences of living in the Vale of Glamorgan, which public services are important to you, why, and how all of these things could be improved.
The survey covered a range of topics including the cost of living, housing, community safety, public transport and health and wellbeing.
We'd like to thank the 4,000 residents who took the time to respond to the survey and share their experiences and priorities with us.
The survey closed in December 2023 and the results have now been analysed by Data Cymru and compiled in to a report, which can be viewed under the documents section on this page.
The report has been presented to the Council's Cabinet and referred to relevant scrutiny committees for their consideration.
We are also in the process of hosting some face to face conversations with groups who were not as well represented in the results as others. To learn about their experiences of life in the Vale and their priorities for Council services.
All of this data will be shared with colleagues across the organisation as well as our elected members so we all have a better understanding of what's important to our residents.
