List of rejected E-Petition submissions and the reason(s) for rejection.


13th February 2023 - Reinstate Green Wedge to the area between Barry and Rhoose - Rejected as it relates to the Council’s planning function, and specifically an existing Planning Application (2019/00871/OUT).

12th September 2024 - urgent action around road calming measures on Station Road in Dinas Powys - rejected as it does not relate to an issue upon which the Council has powers or duties or on which it has shared delivery responsibilities. Responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests entirely with South Wales Police.

23rd November 2024 - Change 20mph - Council is in the process of undertaking the review process.

12th March 2025 - Save Heol Y Cawl - rejected as relates to a Planning Application.

10th December 2025 - Barry town to leave the Vale of Glamorgan and go back to Barry council - rejected as subject relates to something that it outside the control of the Council. The Council therefore has no legal authority to take action on the request made in the petition.
