Where has the funding come from to purchase the building?
We have secured a low-interest loan from Welsh Government to purchase the building. We have 5 years before we need to start paying this back. The aim is for the project to be self-funding by this time.
Will this be used for housing?
No, whilst there is a need for and space for housing near the town centre, we do not think this is the place for it. The aim of purchasing this building was to help rejuvinate the town centre by bringing more footfall to this and other shops along Holton Road.
Do you already have a plan for what this will be used for?
We have ideas but nothing is decided at the moment. We would like to engage with other businesses along Holton Road as well as residents to hear your ideas.
