The Vale of Glamorgan Council, in partnership with Cowbridge and Llanblethian Town Council, has prepared a Placemaking Plan for Cowbridge town centre.

Placemaking is a people focused approach to planning and design that enhances the quality, character, and identity of our towns. It looks at everything that makes a place thrive — from new developments and infrastructure improvements to cultural activities, events, and small community projects. Together, these elements help build a stronger sense of place and belonging.

The Cowbridge Placemaking Plan sets out a vision for the town’s future and will guide investment decisions, ensuring that projects reflect local priorities and deliver lasting benefits for residents, businesses, and visitors.
